Season 1 of Knight Squad was announced on May 16, 2017.[1] The season consisted 20 episodes.[2] Production began October 9, 2017, and wrapped on April 27, 2018.[3] [4] It premiered on February 19, 2018 and ended on January 26, 2019.

Trivia[]
- The series started filming on Oct 16[5] in Los Angeles. However, the cast has already been hanging out and sharing group photos with Nickelodeon cast from other shows, even before production started. In fact, Lilimar even joked that they look "just like a cast."
- Tenzing Norgay Trainor from the former Disney Channel series, Liv and Maddie, guest starred on the episode, The Dork Knight Returns and returned with his former show runners.
- Maria Canals-Barrera from the Disney Channel Original Series Wizards of Waverly Place guest starred in episode, Parent Teacher Knight.
- Lizzy Greene from Nickelodeon live-action television series, "Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn" will guest star in Fright Knight.
- Fellow former cast Members on The Thundermans, Kira Kosarin, Jack Griffo, and Maya Le Clark appeared in Knight Squad. Kira was Kiki in Wish I May, Wish I Knight whilst Maya appeared as Bria in Do the Knight Thing and Jack appeared as Sir Swayze in Working on the Knight Moves.
- Jaheem Toombs from the former Nickelodeon series, 100 Things to Do Before High School was a guest star in the episode, Do the Knight Thing.
- There are 3 specials this season: A Thief in the Knight, End of the Knight, Part 1, and End of the Knight, Part 2
- For Wish I May, Wish I Knight, the theme song was shortened for unknown reasons.
